Driver forced woman off road

A DRIVER who forced a car off the road and into a tree is being sought by police.

The crash happened at around 8.25pm on Wednesday on the A428, 150 metres west of the Knapwell junction, when a 29-year-old woman was driving her maroon Peugeot 306 towards Cambourne.

Another car approached in the opposite direction, overtaking another vehicle and crossing over on to the wrong side of the road.

The woman, who is from Fulbourn, swerved to avoid a collision, then crashed into a tree, leaving her with slight injuries to her shoulder and writing off her car.

Now police have appealed for information about the accident.
